CELEBRATING INNOVATION AND INSPIRING ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION!

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the Ulysses Contest on May 25, 2023. This digital student competition has surpassed expectations and has become more than just a contest. With the final ceremony a significant impact on entrepreneurial education and to inspire future generations of innovators has been made.

A Brief Summary of What Happened

In the second and final phase of the competition, the student teams worked on the HOLLU company case study. The family business HOLLU is based in the Tyrol, Austria and offers innovative and high-quality cleaning and hygiene solutions in the B2C, as well as in the B2B sector. The company is highly committed to sustainability and responsibility to create growth and value for its stakeholders and the regional community. In this regard, student teams were elaborating on the challenges of planning, analyzing and reporting impact, as well as measuring and assessing outputs, outcomes and impact.

While, students elaborated on the case in a written format first, in the last step, the student teams were asked to present their elaborated results live in front of an audience during the final ceremony on 25 May 2023.

After the presentations, the jury, consisting of representatives from the partner institutions (University of Szeged, MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, Free University of Bolzano and University of Vienna), as well as Simon Meinschad, CEO and Werner Holluschek, owner of HOLLU, evaluated the results.

Once again, we extend our congratulations to all participants for their exceptional efforts and are glad to announcing our three winning teams.
