For the third semester in a row the Chair of International Business organized a Welcome Day at the University of Vienna. While last semester, even the Welcome Day had to remain virtual, we were excited to once again meet students in person. Since most courses continue to run online, the importance of face-to-face interactions with students is dearly missed.
For this reason, students were able to meet with the professors and assistant professors, whose classes fall under the Chair of IB. Prof. Dr. Emmanuella Plakoyiannaki, Priv. Doz. Dr. Katerina Makri, and Dr. Francesco Debellis allowed students from their classes to join in groups of up to three students and meet on a more personal level. A lot of students used the time to hold short talks with the professors, ask questions about courses or the master thesis. Afterwards, they were invited to contribute questions for our export corner.
