Prof. Emmanuella Plakoyiannaki and Ms. Giulia Galizzi, doctoral researcher - have represented the Chair of International Business at the Annual Meeting of the Academy of International Business (AIB 2024), held from July 2nd to July 6th in Seoul, South Corea.
Prof. Emmanuella Plakoyiannaki has:
- presented a competitive paper titled "_Problematizing Space in International Business Research: Towards a Social Production of Space_,” coauthored with Bareerah Hafeez Hoorani, Eriikka Paavilainen-Mäntymäki, and Tiina Ritvala.
- been nominated for the “That’s Interesting!” Award.
- been honored with the Best Reviewer Award.
Ms. Giulia Galizzi has:
- participated in the Sheth/AIB Doctoral Consortium.
- presented her work titled "_Managing Network Embeddedness in Family Firm’s Internationalization: An In-Depth Case Study from the Italian Wine Sector_,“ coauthored with Francesco Debellis, Emmanuella Plakoyiannaki, Emanuela Rondi, and Salvatore Sciascia.
- engaged in the WAIB speed mentoring event, sharing and gaining valuable insights.
- actively contributed as an AIB Volunteer.
Additionally, we are proud to announce that the Chair of International Business, University of Vienna, Austria, has sponsored the Best Paper Award for the Research Method Track.
